A community education and outreach program of LancasterHistory, "Origins of the Underground Railroad in Lancaster County" are guided tours of authentic sites and stories of the Underground Railroad and the anti-slavery activists who changed the course of American History, from the Revolutionary War to the outbreak of Civil War.
LancasterHistory offers these year-round customized walking and driving tours, as well as step-on guide services for excursions throughout Lancaster County. During a tour, guests will visit sites with historian Randy Harris, whose research culminated in designations from the National Park Service's National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom for multiple sites throughout the county.
To inquire about a private tour for your group, please contact Randy Harris at 717-392-4633, ext. 131 or email randy.harris@lancasterhistory.org. Please allow at least 2 weeks notice.
